Lime - the first fruit parchment of 2012
First Art of the Year! Yes, I am still one behind - so hopefully by next Sunday I will have two new pieces.
I have become obsessed with anything lime, key lime or lime colored. So, naturally the time for lime has come!
December 27th 2011
Well, since it was Christmas on Sunday, I was not able to create a quality piece of work for my submission, but I have been adding my art to some cool items in my Zazzle shop! Now that things are coming to an end for the year, I hope to produce some really inspiring and unique works of words and art as the Wheel continues to turn. Many wishes of happiness, hope and peace to all who come here. Thank you for another wonderful year of support and compliments!

"Queen of the Ravens" Shadowbox is my project for this Sundays Submission. I had been wanted to play with some clay for awhile now and made some very simple little blackbirds that are super glued inside the ledge of this project. In between the three hand molded and painted birds are two phantom quartz crystals. I also went ahead and added a few pendants tied with red ribbon: a silver feather, a silver raven skull and a pewter pentacle. All of these things are balanced out for design and association with The Queen of the Ravens, also known as The Morrigan. The art included was done on fine quality gold parchment paper and was hand inked with Dragons Blood Red. I then hand fired the piece carefully and affixed it to the scrapbook paper in the Raven in the Forest theme. The whole frame is 9 x 9 inches and the inside piece is 8 x 8. Thank you for your continuous support and yes, I will have another submission next week!

For this weeks new projects I have made three new shadow boxes.
The Raven,
The Owl and
The Butterfly have all been added to my
Etsy shop. These are One of a Kind and they are 5 x7 with a 2.5 inch deep box design. Each one has its own feather and crystal/gemstone. I plan to add The Wolf as soon as I have a chance this week.
As December becomes a frenzy of activity, I will be throwing out the old and bringing in the new, and I am still working on the research and prose for the next planned set of parchments, The Owl 2011. I have been quite enraptured by this night bird since October and want to be sure I pay the proper respect by adding more about this creature to my collection.I have also been writing a little bit more in my Hub Pages and am off to start a new entry right now. Thank you for your continuous support and compliments. I am very grateful.Happy Sunday!

Welcome to my site. I have recently added a vertical left menu to make it easier to find my many different art collections as I have noticed that it has made a difference in exposure. I am grateful for your visit and want to make it is easy and clear as possible. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you can't find what you are looking for. (caroleanzolletti@att.net)
I am working on whatever the Muse allows these days. Taking care of three boys and a household is perpetual movement and I tend to thrive in the constant rhythm of movement here, between the night and the day.
I have had some problems with the built in blog to this site, so whenever I post a new entry, I do it first at Hubpages. It updates in this little box below and as of today, November 27, 2011 I have published 58 "hubs". I haven't decided what my best use of time is concerning an active blog at this time but I will keep this one for awhile.
